TORO RICHDEL / IRRITROL REPLACEMENT DIAPHRAGM FOR 2400 AND 2600 JAR TOP VALVES

The Irritrol (Richdel) 2400 Series solenoid valve has been around since the early 1980’s. This revolutionary solenoid valve was designed with a “Jar Top” so that there were no screws required in in assembly. With one ring to hold the main body together, this made the servicing and replacement of the valve body easy and fast. In addition, the solenoid has a hard wearing and well designed valve mechanism so that while its designed for clean water, it can handle a little bit of dirt and rust. The coil on the 2400 series is a standard Toro/ Bermad style coil so it can easily and quickly be replaced if it burns out and the spare parts for it are readily available .
