With distinctively coloured terracotta inserts, Philmac Rural is the original Australian made fitting specifically designed for joining Australian rural pipe. These compression fittings are manufactured from tough, high performance plastics providing excellent UV, impact and corrosion resistance. Philmac’s Rural fitting make joining poly pipe so simple – all you need is a hacksaw, a mallet and a pair of hands. The Philmac Rural range is also 100% interchangeable with the Philmac 3G Metric range of compression fittings, offering greater flexibility between Imperial B class and Metric poly pressure pipe connections. Australian made for Australian conditions – don’t ask for a fitting, ask for a Philmac.

Installation involving double-ended products is made easy with Rural compression fi ttings, as the installer can simply hammer the insert in separately to each end of the pipe.

Simply bring the insert into the body of the fitting and then tighten the nut with a wrench. As the nut tightens, it will draw the insert into the body of the fitting to create the perfect seal every time.

The Rural compression fitting enables the joint to be easily disconnected and reconnected. Simply by loosening the nut and taking the insert out of the body of the fi tting, the pipe can be freed. This is a real advantage when the pipe is connected to a pump or other piece of equipment which may require relocation or disconnection.
